This is a small portion of the central wall panel pictograph of the "White Shaman Shelter". The entire panel will likely become the "Rosetta Stone" to understanding these ancient 2,500 BC pictographs which reside in over 300 shelters in Val Verde County . Dr. Carolyn Boyd, founder of Shumla School, my patient and friend will be discussing her new findings and interpretations of these pictographs for the Texas Archeological Society with over 400 attendees here in Del Rio in October 2009 and is expected to publish her work in 2011.
