Cross Hatched Anthropomorph
This Anthropomorph is unlike any other typical Pecos River style and is indeed unique in that he has a clearly defined head, has geometric designed patterned body and instead of holding spears or weapons he is holding flowering stalks in each hand. Most of the pictographs in this shelter were on the ceiling over 10 to 15 feet high and required scaffolds to paint or perhaps the objects in his hands represent the brushes used.
