Inside Parida Cave Shelter

This is a view of the outlined path inside the Parida Shelter. On the left/center you will see "Potholes" where past visitors dug for artifacts. This destroys the essential natural sequential layering and relationship between artifacts necessary for archaeologist studying these sites and middens to decipher its story and history. We encourage visitors to "take pictures", "have fond memories" but leave only "footprints on the designated paths".
