Grand Canyon of Texas "Palo Duro Canyon"
This will be the first in a brief series of captures from Palo Duro State Park "The Grand Canyon of Texas", cut by the Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River. 120 miles long 20 miles wide and 800 feet deep and with 250 million years of geological history in its walls. In the right upper portion you will see the square "Castle Peak" and a little further up and right "The Lighthouse" in the lower left is the "Spanish Skirts" above which is "the Capitol Mesa".
