Black Bird Anthropomorph
this is a very small "Black Bird Anthropomorph" that is beneath the large 9 foot panther. It is an example of overpainting and was painted at a different time than the panther. It has been interpreted that the small bird anthropomorph (notice that the extended arms have feathers ie bird dangling down and out to create the effect of motion) is arising from the hole in the universe (black circle beneath the bird shaman) towards his ultimate ascendance aboeve the panther.
