Artic Hare in profile.
Usually the Artic hares congegate in groups but this was the only one found around this area. When alarmed they rise up on their hind legs to look for danger and bound off all in different directions at top speeds to improve chances on not being caught. They can reach speeds of 50Km/hr. This one sat motionless for about 1/2hour to concerve heat and allowed these captures.
