Vertical presentation of Meyers Spring
I liked this on better than the horizontal but both are nice. Actually the original spelling was with an a "Mayers Spring" It was later changed for reasons unknown to the e version
"Meyers Spring" which it remains today. This was the only source of water for long distances in the desert so a fort was built "Fort Meyers" to protect it and keep indians from using it. That was all it took to get rid of the indians in this area along the trail west from the east. That fort is being reconstructed by the Rock Art Foundation as our next project. Want to donate funds for the effort just contact me and I can direct you to the head of the project.
