Regensburg City wall, tower, gate and Cathedral
Regensburg is a stoneage town that dates to AD90 when Romans built a small fort on most northern point of the Danube. It has a long and interesting history and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was spared bombing during WWII and its medieval building are largely intact. I took this from the historic Stone Bridge built in 1135-1146. This view looks into the Historic Salzstadl I will take you inside over the next few days of this beautiful ancient town.
