Summer Soltice
Taken at Summer Soltice in 2011. These petroglyphs in Lewis Canyon 41VV236 rock art site. These were created by the ancients about 4,000 years ago. The left smaller arrow points to the summer soltice at sunrise and the right larger arrow points to the winter soltice at sunrise.
These people were very intelligent and the only records we have of them are these Petroglyphs and painted pictographs in rock art shelters that I have photographed and posted in the past.
